National Preparedness Month is Time to Review Insurance Policies

SANTA ANA, Calif., September 4, 2014—Insurance Partners, Inc., is reminding homeowners, business owners, and vehicle owners that September is National Preparedness Month, an excellent time to review insurance policies covering personal and commercial assets.

“Life moves fast, and it’s easy to forget that all the changes we experience can impact the insurance necessary to provide full protection,” says president Nami Sadighi. “From home renovations to the birth of a baby, from a business expansion to the purchase of new equipment—all these situations call for a review of your insurance coverage.”

For instance, homeowners that have renovated their properties may not realize that, in the event of a disaster, the cost to replace their renovated home could be significantly greater than it would have been prior to the renovation. Similarly, the birth of a child could call for an increase in life insurance, in order to protect the family from financial disaster in the event of the breadwinner’s death.

“We believe that a review of your insurance policies is something you should do regularly—but we also know that for many people, that task sounds about as fun as tax preparation or getting a physical,” says Sadighi.

“We gladly review our clients’ policies with them so they can make informed decisions about their coverage, ensuring that their businesses and families will be protected in the event of a disaster.”
